Meet the Chef – Valério Pinto

Born in Portugal in 1980, Valério Pinto developed a love of cooking from an early age. Growing up surrounded by the family vegetable garden, animals and the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen gave him a real appreciation for fresh ingredients and good, honest food.

Over the years, Valério worked alongside experienced chefs, learning their skills and developing his own approach to cooking – simple, generous and full of flavour.

Today, at Restaurant Valentina, he cooks the kind of food he loves: carefully chosen ingredients, homemade dishes and plenty of flavour, without making things unnecessarily complicated.

Good ingredients, honest cooking and a real passion for food – that’s what Chef Valério is all about.
